Wolf by WinterWolf10 Wolf by WinterWolf10
This is my scratch art project for my art class. We had to choose an animal and draw it and add in the values, so I chose a wolf. :)

Also, this picture isn't the best quality. Sorry for that. :)

This is amazing.... Though, what is scratch art? I've never heard of that before

Thank you. To make a scratch art, you have to use a special paper that has a layer of foil on it, and also a layer of ink on it. You take a scratch tool and carefully scratch off the ink to expose the foil. :)

Ohh! I think I bought a dragon kit for that from a store once. Must take a lot of patience?

It took probably around 8 to 10 hours over the course of two weeks. I'm not totally sure though. :D And thank you! That's really kind of you to say.

Something about a shape of a wolfs long nose, pricked ears, and eye slant, means that many of a wolfs "looks" always seem vaguely threatening to me even when the animal is not actually being aggressive. Could be just me, even after 20 years some thoughts about wolves continue to frighten me as they did as a child.

The fact your drawing manages to convey this, even though disquieting to me, says a lot about your drawing talents, well done.

Actually, no. This was made using a scratchboard. Every line you see is actually a scratch. :) pretty cool, isn't it?
